I think figurine collecting is relatively new in Malaysia and not many shops carry them as well. But given time, I’m sure it will gain popularity. Just look at cosplaying, a few years back there wasn’t even any events like this in Malaysia and now there’s a few coming within the next few months. Looking forward to GACC2008 this weekend.

Sounds a bit dissapointing to me.. I have actually attended anime events in Malaysia twice and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. I’m actually really dissapointed with the lack of products for sale (figures only for display wtf??) as well as the cosplayers. But it is good to see these events being organized. Looking forward for more events like these in the future!
