Cosplaying Language School ? Ussou!
Via Japan Times
Whoever said learning the English language is boring had obviously never attended the Cosplish language school in Japan. Cosplish brings a new concept to teaching languages by focusing its courses around the otaku culture (thats geek in Japanese). Teachers at the school cosplay during lessons and the students are welcomed to don their favorite costumes to class. Imagine a roomful of cosplayers discussing their favorite animes as part of the lessons. With schools like this, who needs to go to cosplay events to live up to their fantasies ?

Some of the subjects taught at the schools include “practical” English which introduces common English slangs and abbreviations like gr8 (great) and b4 (before) used in electronic messaging. Schools such as Cosplish definitely has its appeal for the millions of otakus in Japan, now its just a matter of time before someone decides to start one in Malaysia to learn Japanese :D.
BTW Ussou means “No way!” in Japanese.
