Nausicaä Cosplayers to Represent Japan for World Cosplay Summit 2008
A duo cosplaying as characters from the famous Hayao Miyazaki’s Nausicaä Valley of the Wind anime won the qualifying round to represent Japan in the World Cosplay Summit 2008 which will be held in Japan this August. I have to admit, despite Hayao Miyazaki’s success in animes, his characters are not frequently portrayed by cosplayers, however this pair of cosplayer really took the cake with their “Ohmu” inspired costume. On a sidenote, can you spot someone familiar in the pic above ?
